how good is open source?
When?
Not really sure when looks as though is always been in the computer world. companies like UNIVAC and IBM in the 1950s
Could we use open source as a model for the rest of the world? How similar is open source to socialism? Socialism is an economic and political philosophy encompassing diverse economic and social systems characterised by social ownership of the means of production, as opposed to private ownership. I would say it is very similar.
Why it works and why it doesn’t?
A library shares resources. each member can borrow a book for a few days and return for another member to enjoy and learn from.

I work in irrigation and there is one tafe course but no apprenticeship.
